What Is Yozgoo

One game. A real research study- based on science. A measurable shift in how students handle bullying.

Yozgoo is the first full-length, web-based bully-prevention interactive role-playing game — built by Clemson University and Gamify, and tested with real students before it ever reached a classroom.

Built on peer-reviewed research, not guesswork.

Clemson University and Gamify collaborated to introduce the first full-length, web-based bully-prevention interactive role-playing game — Yozgoo.

Yozgoo is based on world-renowned, peer-reviewed scholarly research on comprehensive bullying prevention. Students build a character and play to learn how to identify bullying, manage bullying behavior, and apply best practices in real bullying situations.

The student is immersed in a story-driven, fictitious world designed to simulate the bullying problems students face every day — stylized in a safe, kid-friendly theme from the first scene to the last.

Yoz

1. If someone is calling you a hurtful name, that is verbal bullying. This kind of bullying also includes taunting, teasing, and threats.

Real in-game dialogue — every lesson is delivered inside the story, not as a separate worksheet.

Tested with real students before it reached a single classroom.

A Clemson University study placed 120 students into intervention and control groups using a true experimental design — and found statistically significant improvements in bullying-related knowledge among students who played Yozgoo.
